Tourplan alternative for DMCsBuilt for the corporate program and the days on the ground.
DMC Pilot is made for MICE and incentive DMCs: the proposal, the air manifest, transfers, day sheets, your team's phone app and the margin on each program.
Tourplan has run tour operators and DMCs since 1986, from contracting to the general ledger. MICE is one type of booking in it.
DMC Pilot skips contracting and distribution. It puts its depth into the corporate program and the days on the ground.
Why DMCs choose DMC Pilot
Organized around your program
Everything sits in the program: a client, dates, a headcount, an air manifest, suppliers, a team, a sold price and a live margin.
Flights tracked live, transfers that follow
The air manifest is tracked live and becomes transfer runs that re-time when flights move. We did not find live flight tracking on Tourplan's website.
Day sheets and a phone app for the team
Day sheets build themselves from the program. Staff and freelancers get a phone app with chat and check-in lists that work without signal.
A live page for your corporate client
Your client follows the program on a live page in your brand, with arrivals, today's schedule and transfers. Your costs and margin never show.
Running in about two weeks
Onboarding is hands-on. We load your price list and suppliers with you, and build your first programs together.
Airport transfers, day sheets, margin alerts and Client View are on Growth and up. The features page shows the plan for each feature.

Switching is simple
If you do both leisure and MICE, you can keep a tour-operator system for contracted product and use DMC Pilot for corporate programs. If you are moving your MICE work, bring the clients, suppliers and services you sell for MICE as spreadsheets.
Here is what you can bring across:
- Guest and rooming lists from CSV or Excel, on every plan. The columns are matched for you, so a list from another system needs no reformatting.
- Clients, suppliers and your price list through Data imports on Growth and up: CSV, Excel or PDF files, up to 20,000 new records at a time.
- Supplier price lists create the supplier with every price linked to it. You can upload up to 500 documents or a whole folder at once.
- Nothing is saved until you review it. Possible duplicates are flagged, and you confirm the import yourself.
Onboarding is hands-on and paid. We load your price list, suppliers and first programs with you. It usually takes two weeks:
- Week one. We go through the setup checklist with you: company profile and logo, your team and their roles, destinations, then your price list and supplier rates imported.
- Week two. Your suppliers are loaded and invited to their portal. We build two live programs together.
- From then on. Your team runs the programs, and we stay close through your first day on site.
Past programs are usually not worth moving. Keep them where they are, and start your next program in DMC Pilot.

Questions about Tourplan and DMC Pilot
Does Tourplan handle MICE?
Yes. Tourplan has groups and MICE modules, with several itineraries and room configurations in one booking file and per-booking profitability. Its core is contracting, bookings, distribution and accounting for tour operators and DMCs.
Does DMC Pilot replace an accounting system like Tourplan's?
No. DMC Pilot handles invoices, payment schedules, credit notes and supplier bills, and sends invoices and payments to Xero or QuickBooks Online. It has no general ledger.
Can we keep Tourplan for leisure and use DMC Pilot for MICE?
Yes. If you do both, you can keep a tour-operator system for contracted product and run your corporate programs in DMC Pilot.
The bottom line for DMCs
Tourplan is a deep, proven system for tour operators and for DMCs whose work is contracted travel product.
For a DMC whose work is corporate meetings, incentives and events, DMC Pilot is the better fit. It is built for the program, not the booking. Flights are tracked live, and transfers re-time themselves. Your team has day sheets and a phone app. Suppliers work in their own portal, and the client has a live page. You see the margin on every program, and Dispatch AI, the assistant built into DMC Pilot, answers from your own records.
